General

These Terms and conditions (Terms) apply to all services provided by Ace Solutions B.V., registered under the laws of the Netherlands (We, Us, Company), to client (Client) for consulting and assistance for expats and international families in the Netherlands.

Use of Services

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with such changes being effective upon posting on this website. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or through the Company’s website.

Service booking

Appointments for consultations must be scheduled online through our website. Clients will receive a confirmation email with details and a link to a preparation form, which must be completed prior to the consultation.

Cancellation and rescheduling policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or no-shows will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price.

If the Company cancels the appointment at any time, a new appointment will be offered at no additional cost.

Fees and Payment

All fees for services are as outlined on the Company website, excluding VAT. Payment is due upon booking. All payments must be made in euros (EUR) to the provided bank account details within the 15 days of the date of invoice.

If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 30 days, interest will be charged at a rate of 2% above the base rate per month (or part thereof) until full payment is received. Any costs incurred by the Company as a result of non-payment or late payment of invoices beyond the 30-day period will be charged to the Client.

Liability

The Company will provide services to the best of its ability but does not guarantee specific outcomes, such as school placement.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and completing any required documentation or preparatory work before consultations. The Company is not liable for any incorrect information provided by the Client.

The Company is not liable for any decisions made by schools or any other third parties, or any damages arising from the use of our services.

The Company will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its services. The Company’s liability is capped at the amount paid for the service in question.

Privacy

The Company respects the privacy of Clients and is committed to protecting personal data. All data collected will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please visit our Privacy Policy here.

Confidentiality

All information, advice, materials, guides, and any other content provided by the Company to the Client are intended solely for the Client’s personal use. The Client agrees not to sell, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit any of the information or materials received from the Company without prior written consent.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiations or, if necessary, by the competent courts in the Netherlands.
